We have received some rain over the past two weeks and although the ground was so dry that much of what fell was absorbed, the rivers do seem to be at a healthier level for the developing brook and brown trout. Last evening we received our first snow of the year; just a dusting. More substantial snow may come the day before Thanksgiving. I'll be tying up many flies this winter.
