Cold River Report: The temperature in the river is hovering around 50 degrees with some variation from the higher-elevation source to the mouth at the Connecticut. Give it a few more degrees and things should pick up. Besides black flies hatching, I observed some Yellow Sally Stoneflies coming off the water. A stimulator is a good option at this time. Give a call or send an email if you would like me to tie some.
